JewishArtwork.net is a project designed to showcase the fascinating world of contemporary Jewish art and design. A different piece of art will be featured every month, thus slowly but surely building an extensive and much needed resource for compelling contemporary Jewish art on the web.
Dov Abramson, Editor and Designer. Dov is an artist and graphic designer living in Jerusalem. He is a graduate of the Visual Communications Department of Bezalel Academy of Art and Design. Dov runs his own graphic design studio in Jerusalem, where he and his team explore the tensions in form, color, language and type in modern Jewish & Israeli society. His clients include the Avi Chai Foundation, Gesher, KolDor, and independent musicians such as Ofer Golany and Yoram Getzler. His work has been featured and published in Zeek Magazine, Forward, Maariv, Haaretz and Makor Rishon, and his art has been displayed at The Jewish Museum in New York as well as at Israel Museum in Jerusalem.
He is also the creator of Shraga, Pshita and Zimna (coming soon).
